macOS Mojave 10.14.6 Supplemental Update released with Bug Fixes & Security Updates

Apple has released macOS Mojave 10.14.6 Supplemental Update. This update contains a few bug fixes and security updates. The new build does not have a version number increment, oddly, but the build number is new: 18G95.

Apple does not usually release Supplemental Updates, unless they are for specific security fixes or hardware models. For example, Apple has previously released Supplemental Updates for macOS Mojave specifically for MacBook Air (2018). Apple had also released a Supplemental Update for macOS Mojave 10.14.3 to resolve security issues with Group FaceTime.

With this new update, Apple has fixed a number of issues. The first of these addresses an issue with MacBooks shutting down when put to sleep. Other updates include a fix for performance degradation when working with large files. Apple’s own apps like Pages, Keynote and the likes were not updating properly for some users, and this update fixes this problem too.
