iOS 9.3.6 and iOS 10.3.4 released with GPS Bug fix for old iPhones and iPads

Apple has released some unexpected updates for older iOS versions: iOS 9.3.6 and iOS 10.3.4. These updates include security fixes and a fix for a GPS bug which could cause issues with location lock.

These updates available for the following devices:

iOS 9.3.6

  • iPad 2 (WiFi + Cellular)
  • iPad mini (WiFi + Cellular)
  • iPad 3 (WiFi + Cellular)
  • iPhone 4s

iOS 10.3.4

  • iPad 4 (WiFi + Cellular)
  • iPhone 5

If you still have any of these devices, make sure to update them to take advantage of the security and bug fixes in the new updates. To update to these latest operating system updates, go to Settings > General > Software Update.
