iOS 12 shipped almost 3 weeks ago, with a number of major new features like Siri Shortcuts, improved performance for all iOS devices, Screen Time, Memoji, and much more. The update has been well received but a number of issues have plagued iOS devices. Some iPhones would stop charging when the screen turned off, while other devices would have issues with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.
Apple has also released iOS 12.1 as a beta for developer and public testers. The release includes Group FaceTime, new emojis and various bug fixes. Apple had also released watchOS 5.0.1 and tvOS 12.0.1 a while back, to squash bugs found after release.
