Apple will be redesigning 2019 iPhone antennas for improved cellular performance and indoor navigation, as per a new report by Ming-Chi Kuo. The antennas will use modified-PI (MPI) material instead of liquid crystal polymer (LCP) material, which is currently used by iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR.

Jumbo is a new privacy assistant app for iPhone that lets users take control of their data and privacy on social networks, websites and services like Twitter, Facebook, Alexa and Google. The app lets user delete old search and voice queries from Google and Alexa, old tweets from Twitter and restrict ad and privacy settings for content on Facebook.

WhatsApp has added a new privacy option to its app that lets users block group invitations from select users. Users can chose to either completely disable group invites or chose who can send them one. Group invites have been an annoying part of WhatsApp where users are added without their permissions, specifically for spamming purposes. This feature intends to provide a solution for this annoyance.

iOS 13 will be a major release with a number of new features which would include system-wide dark mode, improved multitasking on iPad, updates to Safari, Mail and Hey Siri, a new Undo gesture for iPad, a new volume HUD (finally!) and much more. As expected, a lot of improvements in iOS 13 will be aimed specifically at the iPad to improve productivity and multitasking.

Apple has published new videos on YouTube which focus on privacy on iPhone and Apple Watch Series 4 customization. Two new Shot on iPhone XS videos were also released, one of which focuses on NHL stars, while the other one gives a glimpse into the Cuban surf community.

Cloudflare has announced a new VPN service called Warp which will be available in its 184.108.40.206 DNS app for iOS and Android. The VPN service will be available for free and will provide increased performance and security by utilizing Cloudflare’s massive network.

Apple has released a new update to its Clips app for iOS. The update includes a new camcorder filter as well as a number of new posters, effects and stickers. Support for importing music from Garageband and other apps is also included, along with ClassKit support to allow students to submit video assignments through the Schoolwork app.

As per a new report by renowned analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple will be adding two-way wireless charging support and larger batteries to 2019 iPhones. This means that users would be able to use the new iPhones to wirelessly charge other devices like iPhones and AirPods. Samsung already has such functionality available in their Galaxy line-up of smartphones.

Twitter has released a new update which brings an OLED friendly black theme and automatic dark mode to its iOS app. The app already had a dark mode but instead of being completely black, it used a blue/grey color scheme which made readability really easy in low light environments.

Apple has announced Apple Arcade – a gaming subscription service for iOS devices, Macs and Apple TV. The service will launch this fall with 100 games, with beautiful graphics and storytelling and more games will be added regularly. The games will not have any in-app purchases or ads and will work without Internet access.
