If you were on a developer beta or public beta, follow this simple guide to switch from iOS 13.1 beta/iPadOS beta to official iOS 13.1/iPadOS 13.1 public release. This can be done without formatting your device, losing any data, reinstalling any apps or even using iTunes.

Apple has released iPadOS 13.1.1 with bug fixes and improvements for battery drain, restore from backups, Reminders syncing, Safari search suggestions and a security fix for third-party keyboards. The update is out just 3 days after the first iPadOS 13.1 public release was made available to all users. Apple has also released iOS 13.1.1 with a similar set of fixes.

Apple has started rolling out Apple Arcade access to iOS and iPadOS beta testers. It is initially available as a free trial for 1 month, before the monthly payment of $5 is applied. There are around 62 games available in Apple Arcade at the moment, with around 38 more games coming later.

Apple has released iOS 13 and iPadOS beta 8 to developers. The update is available over-the-air as well as as complete firmware downloads for registered developers. Public beta 7 is also available now as over-the-air update.

Apple has created a new system-wide dark theme for iOS 13 and iPadOS. The theme looks great on OLED iPhones as well as LCD displays on iPads. The dark mode applies to every part of the operating system, along with built-in apps.

Apple has announced that it will be acquiring majority of Intel’s smartphone modem business for $1 billion. The acquisition includes equipment, 17,000 patents and 2,000 employees. The deal will be closed by fourth quarter of 2019, if everything goes through regulatory approvals without any issues.
