What’s new in tvOS 13?

This has been a major update for Apple TV owners. A new home screen makes it easy to discover more content with full-screen video previews. The update effectively turns Apple TV into a serious gaming console thanks to Apple Arcade gaming subscription service and support for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 wireless controllers. Users can get an Apple Arcade subscription for just $4.99 for their whole family and play on iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac and Apple TV. Gaming progress is saved and synced to all devices via iCloud.

Multiuser support enables different users to be added to an Apple TV and have their own set of content recommendations, Apple Music and App Store sign-ins. This should also allow Apple Arcade users to continue their gaming progress by switching to their profile. Switching is done via the new control center, which opens up from the right side of the screen and also contains quick controls for playback, AirPlay and power.
