The third generation iPad Pro is a highly anticipated product update, expected to be launched at Apple’s October event later this month. While we wait for the event announcement, a lot of information about the new iPad Pro has already leaked via iOS 12.1, supply chain and other sources. The latest renders show the presence of a USB-C Connector, super thin bezels, and also confirm the screen size of the new iPad Pro.
The first renders have been released via SlashLeaks, which show the new iPad Pro rendered in Keyshot, a 3D rendering software. The renders show the front display, back camera and the width of the device. No technical specifications are mentioned but it is implied that the new iPad Pro screen is 11 inches to 12.9 inches.
The second leak comes from Benks, a screen protector company based in Guangdong, China. In a marketing image, they show their screen protector on top of an iPad Pro. The company also states that the screen protectors range from 10.5 inch to 12.9 inch, which makes 12.9 inch a common connection between the leaks. You can also see the USB-C port in one of the shots, along with thin bezels around the display, without any home button.
Keep in mind while these are just software renders of the iPad Pro and not actual product pictures, they match up with a lot of the rumored details: inclusion of the USB-Connector, thinner Bezels, FaceID, and larger display. While no new details have leaked through these renders, we know for sure that the new iPad Pro will be powered by a beefy A12X processor, which should be even more powerful than its iPhone XS variant. As per multiple reports, a second generation Apple Pencil will also be announced with the new tablets.
It’s already mid-October and the event is expected to take place in the last week of this month. Stay tuned as we keep you updated on the latest news and leaks for the new iPad Pro.
